The Cycling World 2026 trade fair has once again shown that the bicycle industry is full of surprises. From smart cargo bikes to revolutionary safety technologies – here are the most exciting innovations that particularly impressed us.

Lovens V2: Luxury on two wheels

The Lovens V2 sets new standards for comfort and functionality. With a heated bench seat, even the coldest winter becomes a cozy ride. Practical USB ports ensure that smartphones and other devices never run out of power on the go, while the interior lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere. A special highlight is the LED dynamic light strip, which not only ensures better visibility in traffic but also gives the bike a modern look.

ABUS: The “grinderproof” lock

Theft protection is a top priority – and with a new lock, ABUS has proven that security knows no compromises. The tungsten carbide-reinforced lock is considered “grinderproof” and thus offers almost unbreakable protection against bolt cutters and angle grinders. Finally, cyclists can park their cargo bikes or e-bikes with peace of mind.

Isy Longtail: The first full-suspension longtail with Pinion MGU

Anyone who thought longtail cargo bikes couldn’t get any better will be proven wrong by the new Isy Longtail. As the first full-suspension longtail on the market, it combines comfort with state-of-the-art technology. The new Pinion MGU with twelve gears and a torque of 85 Nm ensures powerful acceleration, while the gear ratio of 600% makes even steep climbs child’s play. Perfect for everyone who values performance and riding pleasure.

Bosch eBike Systems: Theft protection in the Flow app

Bosch is taking an important step in the fight against bicycle theft. With a new feature in the Flow app, users can permanently mark individual components of their e-bike as stolen. This is intended to deter thieves and make the resale of stolen parts unattractive. A small but effective contribution to greater security in the e-bike world.

The Cycling World 2026 trade fair has once again shown: the future of cycling is innovative, safe, and full of exciting solutions. We are excited to see which of these innovations will soon be part of our range – and we look forward to offering you the best products for your daily cycling life!
